🚨 𝗜 𝗚𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗼 🚨

(A lesson every crypto trader needs to read)

👉 Please read this if you trade on-chain. It could save your wallet.

🧵 Here’s what happened to me 𝘠𝘌𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘙𝘋𝘈𝘠, 𝘚𝘈𝘛 28𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘦 – and how you can avoid it.

I got an alert from our 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 about a new Base token (PYN) that passed initial checks. Everything looked solid on paper:
📈 Strong uptrend
📊 Consistent volume
⚠️ No prior red flags

So I went in with a 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝗼𝗳 $𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗨𝗦𝗗𝗖 via Unimarket.

💥 But then — 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 saying the token was flagged as malicious.
I had never seen that before on a token just picked up by our system.
Still, I decided to proceed cautiously.

🎯 𝚁̲𝚎̲𝚜̲𝚞̲𝚕̲𝚝̲:̲
✔️ The trade 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘥
❌ But the tokens 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 in my wallet
👻 Just vanished — 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗺

🔍 What went wrong?

The dev 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.
This is a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰:

1️⃣ Launch a token that looks normal
2️⃣ Let bots push the price up (like the chart I shared 👇 — see that unnatural, no-dip curve?)
3️⃣ Wait for traders to jump in
4️⃣ Then flip the switch: 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗡
→ Wallets can’t receive or sell
→ You’re stuck holding a bag of air

This explains why the alert passed early filters — but failed 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 the dev pulled the rug.

🔒 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲:

✅ If a chart looks 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵, with zero pullbacks and artificial volume — 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆
✅ If a wallet warning appears mid-trade, 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬
✅ Always test with small amounts — and never let FOMO override due diligence

📉 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 $𝟮𝟬𝟬, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁.

→ No more vague “High” or “Low.” You assess based on how systems, data, or missions are affected.

→ You can now ask: “What safeguards do we already have?” AND “Are they enough?”

Now, I 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘥 Meta. I didn’t ask for help.
I didn’t even know I was talking to AI.
And I’m not the only one.
Across Facebook and Instagram, users are watching their everyday, personal conversations get AI replies like:
“Sounds like you’re planning a trip! Want help finding flights?” ✈️
“Need a good place to eat nearby?” 🍔
It feels like the digital version of someone butting into your private chat at a café.

😨 The line between HELP and INVASION is getting blurry.

📢 Here’s the real issue:
Most people don’t realize 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 to let Meta’s AI read their posts.

Let me tell you a quick story 👇

Last week, a friend of mine (a smart IT guy!) opened a 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗰𝘂𝘁 from a shared folder at work. It looked normal. Just a tiny file that was supposed to open a report. But the moment he clicked it, BOOM 💣 — his system started talking to the internet in the background… through PowerShell.

No pop-up. No warning. Just silence… and compromise.

What happened? 🤔

Hackers are now hiding 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 „𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴“ 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 — things like:

🧿 .lnk files in Windows
🧿 .desktop files in Linux
🧿 .app bundles in macOS

These aren’t viruses. They’re just normal files being MISUSED to silently launch tools like PowerShell, curl, or terminal scripts — all without needing admin rights 😨

These attacks are dangerous because:
✅ They don’t trigger classic antivirus
✅ They use trusted apps
✅ They’re EASY to share through email or network folders

🎯 But here’s the GOOD NEWS:

That’s exactly what happened… TWICE… in THREE HOURS. 😳

👉 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘢 𝘋𝘔 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢 𝘍𝘙𝘌𝘌 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘴!

Let me tell you a WILD story that happened recently:
A person was tricked into losing $𝟮.𝟲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 in crypto through a sneaky trick called 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Here’s how it works (even a 3rd grader could fall for this one):

👀 A scammer sends you a fake transaction — it shows up like THEY sent something to YOU.
💡 But surprise: They actually sent 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀, just so their FAKE address shows up in your history.
😇 So later, when you want to send funds and see that “familiar” address, you think it’s safe…
💥 You send your REAL crypto… and it’s GONE. Forever.

This victim made that mistake — TWICE — in the same day. 😱

But guess what? This CAN be avoided with just a few smart moves:

✅ 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲-check wallet addresses — don’t trust what’s in your history
✅ 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆-paste from previous transactions
✅ 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 — ONLY send to pre-approved addresses

This isn’t just a crypto problem — it’s a 𝘏𝘜𝘔𝘈𝘕 problem. We trust what we’ve seen before.
But the blockchain doesn’t protect emotions — only logic can.

Last week, my friend 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 lost $12,000 worth of crypto. 😨
